Description
Ezone is a two brother, video game developer team from Perth, Australia. We’ve been working as a professional pair since 1995 and together have shipped hundreds of games for online, mobile, consoles and VR/AR devices. While most of our games are a vehicle for our original IP such as Lenny Loosejocks and Team Awesome, we’ve also created games for SpongeBob Squarepants, Rugrats, Battle of the Planets, Dora the Explorer, Rocket Power, Crash Bandicoot, Hey Arnold, Godzilla, Tarzan, Kim Possible, E.T., and many more.
History
Early historyThe Edis Brothers, Simon and Jamie, founded Ezone.com in 1995. They got their start making web games for their own game portal Ezone.com which led to work for major Hollywood studios including Disney, Universal, Nickelodeon, Sony, Fox, and MTV. In addition to the Ezone.com website, their original web games appear on major game portals like Shockwave, Miniclip, Kongregate, Newgrounds and many others. Their most successful web games include games and cartoons starring Lenny Loosejocks and the Sling series.
VR/ARWhen the Oculus DevKit 1 came out in 2013 Ezone was there at the start with 'Space Marine Boot Camp VR' a tongue-in-cheek look at the future of military space training. Since then Ezone has developed games for a variety of VR/AR devices including: HTC Vive, Oculus, ARKit, ARCore, GearVR, Google Cardboard, etc, so we know what's involved in creating games for new devices and technologies. Our 'Mammoth Mini Golf AR' was one of the first games to utilise Apple's ARKit and was selected in the 'Apple App Store Best of 2017'. Ezone is currently developing VR title for the Oculus Quest.
